Mumbai Police have ramped up their investigation into the recent shooting incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu, which left his driver and an autorickshaw driver injured. Eyewitnesses, including fellow actor Karanveer Mehra, reported hearing gunshots outside a football ground as forensic teams collected crucial ballistic evidence from the scene.

As the Mumbai Police ramp up its probe into the firing at actor Tiger Shroff’s car in  Juhu on Sunday, fellow actor Karanveer Mehra, who was among the first to arrive at the scene, recalled seeing the bloodstains.

Karanveer was in a car just behind Tiger when unidentified assailants opened fire. "My car was right behind Tiger's car. When we left the gate and my car arrived, I saw blood stains. I learned that Tiger's driver had been shot," he told NDTV.

According to reports, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhimanyu Dassani, Cesar Gonsalves, Abhishek Bajaj, and Karanvir Mehra were present at the football ground around 7 p.m. on Sunday when the shooting happened. As Tiger Shroff left the football ground in his car, three attackers fired three to four rounds at his vehicle.

“There were kids there, celebrating a birthday party; everyone was running around," he added.

Karanveer said he plays football with Tiger Shroff in Juhu and has known him for a long time. However, he didn't see the attackers at the time of the attack. “There were a lot of people clicking pictures. Suddenly, the sound of a gun-popping was heard, and people started shouting that someone had fired a gun,” he added.

Another eyewitness, Rakesh Kumar, a rickshaw driver, said there were three individuals involved in the shooting. “I arrived around 7:00 PM to take my vehicle out. Three individuals were involved: one on a motorcycle, and two standing outside, one near the gate and another slightly ahead of it. When the shooting began, one person opened fire from the front, targeting the specific seat where Tiger Shroff was sitting. Another person, the one near the gate, fired a shot that struck the driver in the hand,” he added.

Mumbai Police said the actor's driver, Firdaus, was injured in his left hand and was taken to the hospital. Ballistic reports indicate the shots were fired from a very close range.

Meanwhile, a forensic team visited the scene of the incident to collect ballistic evidence, inspect the vehicle, and ascertain the exact number of rounds fired.

Police were analysing CCTV footage from surrounding locations to identify the assailants and determine the total number involved in the incident. "Shroff is safe and has not sustained any injuries in the firing incident. His driver, identified as Firdaus, and another driver of the autorickshaw, identified only as Chauhan, were injured in the shooting and were rushed for medical treatment," an official said.
