After a social media post falsely claimed that India has reached out to Israel to sign a defence pact in response to the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia-Turkey security deal, the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday warned against such "malicious posts".
"We caution against such malicious posts on social media platforms which use AI to create fake content!" the MEA Fact Check wing said in a post on X.
Earlier in the day, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal responded to the security pact, saying the government is "closely following the development."

Sager, chairman of the Gulf Research Center, a Saudi-based think tank, as saying. "The trilateral framework could strengthen the three countries' collective diplomatic and defense weight while contributing to the emergence of a more regionally driven security architecture," Sager added.
However, Rayed Krimly, Saudi deputy minister for public diplomacy, took to social media to clarify that the pact does not represent an effort to establish a military axis or a sectarian bloc, adding that it is not linked to any nuclear ambitions or arms race.
