Rapper Santy Sharma’s YouTube channel, which he created 11 years ago, has reportedly been permanently deleted.
The removal of the channel comes after the rapper made comments on the Cockroach Janta Party.
Sharma expressed his disappointment on his social media.
According to him, YouTube informed him that his channel had been permanently deleted and would not be restored.
YouTube has not publicly clarified the reason behind the deletion of Sharma's account.
Fans on social media have questioned how digital platforms handle creators.
My channel wasn't just a platform. It was 11 years of dreams, struggles, memories, and countless hours of hard work," he said.
Sharma claimed that he faced hate online after he made comments on the CJP. He said that the timing of the YouTube channel being removed is related to the incident .
He also added that while is channel may be shut down, his voice hasn't stopped.
Sharma also said that he will recreate a new channel.
There has been no official statement from YouTube linking the channels removed to the comments he made.
Sharma had called the CJP an internet drama when it was first launched by Abhijeet Dipke.
He said that many follow trends without checking the background of such campaigns. He also claimed that Dipke was tied to the Aam Aadmi Party.
“No political party is perfect, including the BJP, and criticism is part of democracy. But creating unnecessary instability, outrage culture, and online propaganda is not the solution for India’s growth,” he said on Instagram.
Santy Sharma, whose real name is Ganesh Sharma, is a rapper, singer, and lyricist from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
He made his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5.
