Bringing much-needed relief from the scorching heat, rain is expected in several parts of Gujarat over the next two days. The Meteorological Department's latest forecast indicates that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely in isolated districts of South Gujarat on June 15.
Rain is expected in various parts, including Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, and Valsad, as well as in scattered areas of Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli. However, the weather is likely to remain completely dry in all districts of North Gujarat and Saurashtra-Kutch.
IMD also predicted that the monsoon is likely to advance over Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand and the remaining parts of Bihar in the next few days.
Heavy rains are forecast in East and Northeast India, while residents in many parts of Northwest India may face difficulties due to storms, dusty winds and rising temperatures.
On the other hand, there is no immediate relief from the heat and humidity in Gujarat. Currently, the maximum temperature is being recorded at around 39 to 41 degrees. If we look at the statistics, the highest temperature of 41.4 degrees has been recorded in Bhavnagar, while 40.6 degrees has been recorded in Ahmedabad and 40 degrees in Amreli. The temperature has been recorded in Rajkot at 39.7 degrees, Gandhinagar at 39.1 degrees, Vadodara at 38.6 degrees and Surat at 35.2 degrees. In the next two days, due to this heat along with unseasonal rainy weather, a double season will be felt, which can have a direct impact on people's lives and health.
