Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha on Thursday made a sharp, cryptic statement after his removal from the Rajya Sabha's deputy leader post.
Featuring no commentary on the AAP snub, the Punjab MP posted a video montage on X, showing parts of his various speeches in the Upper House of the Parliament.
In the compilation, captioned with an evil eye (nazar) emoji, he can be seen speaking about a number of issues—from tax problems of the middle class and paternity leave to food adulteration and the exploitation of gig workers.

Mobile data usage, paper leaks, and flight delays are some other topics that feature in his montage video, which is his first reaction to being replaced as the deputy leader of the AAP in the Rajya Sabha.

This comes after the Arvind Kejriwal-led party submitted a letter to the Rajya Sabha secretariat to replace Chadha with MP Ashok Mittal, as per a PTI report, citing sources in the know.
Why was Raghav Chadha replaced?
The replacement of Raghav Chadha in the Rajya Sabha is said to be the latest development in growing tensions between the accountant-turned-MP, some of which date back to 2024, as per the report.
While the AAP has not officially confirmed the reason behind its letter, reports say that the Punjab MP could be "facing the music" for alleged indiscipline and for not adhering to the party line.
After becoming the youngest Rajya Sabha MP in 2022, the 37-year-old leader became the party’s leader in the Upper House in 2023, replacing Sanjay Singh.
However, he had not made any major statements on Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia’s recent discharge in connection with the excise policy-linked money laundering case, which reportedly raised eyebrows within the party.
He was also absent from the party office when the AAP supremo later convened a press conference and organised a rally at Jantar Mantar.
Chadha's next moves within the party remain shrouded in doubt amid rumours of a jump to the BJP, as his exit from the AAP has also not been ruled out.
