Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will attend a leadership programme at Harvard University later this month, becoming the first serving chief minister in India to enrol in an academic programme at an Ivy League institution.
According to an official statement, Reddy will participate in the 'Leadership for the 21st Century: Chaos, Conflict and Courage' programme at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government from January 25 to 30. The programme is part of Harvard’s executive education offerings and is designed for senior leaders working in complex governance and policy environments.
Revanth Reddy will attend classes on the Kennedy School campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, along with participants from more than 20 countries. The cohort includes political leaders, senior government officials and policy professionals. The programme is chaired by Prof. Tim O’Brien and directed by Prof. Karen Morrissey.

It involves classroom sessions, case study discussions and group-based exercises. Participants are required to complete assignments, submit written work and collaborate on group projects, which are presented during classroom sessions. The case studies are drawn from different regions and historical periods, focusing on leadership challenges during moments of conflict, institutional stress and political uncertainty.
Officials said the CM will complete the full academic schedule during the six-day programme. On completion, he will receive a certificate from Harvard University. He is scheduled to return to India after completing the programme on January 30.
