Chirag Paswan's negotiation skills were hailed by most after his Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) was allotted 29 seats by the NDA during the seat-sharing talks for the Bihar Assembly Polls 2025.

Amidst all the theories, Chirag Paswan has finally spoken about the seat-sharing talks and what went behind the curtains. He hailed Union Minister Nityanand Rai for the seat distribution talks progressing smoothly without hitting any major roadblocks. Paswan went to the extent of crediting the Minister of State for Home Affairs for the successful distribution of seats.

"As soon as he arrived, he got the entire negotiation finalised," Jansatta quoted him as saying. Chirag further said that all Rai needed to ensure the campaign was moving forward smoothly was one or two meetings. And now that everything has concluded, the LJP chief met his colleague once again to express his gratitude, Jansatta said. The report hinted in its headline that Paswan would have considered going solo again if his demand for a larger number of seats had not been met.

Meanwhile, Nityanand Rai said that they work for the success of the alliance and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is their inspiration. The former Ujiarpur MP, a three-time MLA from Hajipur constituency, is the face of the BJP among the Yadav voters who have traditionally backed the RJD.
