While Noida and Ghaziabad are receiving heavy rain, and the Master Plan Road near Shastri Nagar has become completely waterlogged, eastern parts of Delhi, such as Jafrabad are only seeing light showers, as per a Jagran report. Several areas of Delhi also saw minor traffic jams during the morning rush hour.
The Delhi Traffic Police also warned commuters on X that the Zakhira Railway Underpass (Road No. 40) was waterlogged, due to which traffic would be affected in the surrounding areas.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has upgraded its forecast to orange alerts for parts of Delhi till October 3, and has also retained yellow alerts for other areas.
This is due to the formation of a low-pressure area in the Arabian Sea and the withdrawal of southwest monsoon winds in the regions surrounding Delhi-NCR.
