Jammu and Kashmir rains: Scary visuals of Reasi landslide that buried alive seven members of a family

Seven members of a family, including five minors, are feared killed as a major landslide devastated their house in a remote village in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning.

Rescue operations are underway to trace Nazir Ahmad, his wife and their five minor sons, who went missing after the landslide, triggered by heavy rains, flattened their house in Badder village of Mahore.

In another incident, three people died and three others went missing due to heavy rains and flash floods in Rajgad area of Ramban district.

Incessant rains, cloudbursts and landslides have been wreaking havoc in the Union territory for the last one week, claiming scores of lives and leaving a trail of destruction.
