Where did it rain the most in Mumbai today? BMC reveals how much rainfall did Chembur, Dadar receive on Monday

Mumbai rain news: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday afternoon revealed the rainfall received in various parts of Mumbai on Monday morning. The corporation said that Chembur Fire Station recorded the highest rainfall in Mumbai with 140.80 mm from 8 AM to 12 PM on Monday. The Pipeline Workshop in Dadar followed closely with 139.60 mm, while other areas with significant rainfall included B. Nadkarni Park Municipal School and Worli Sea Face Municipal School, both in Worli, at 133.20 mm each. 

Savitribai Phule Municipal School at Worli Naka recorded 130.40 mm, while Adarsh Nagar School in Worli received 128.80 mm. Frozberry Reservoir, F South Office, and District Collector Colony Municipal School in Chembur both had 116.80 mm of rainfall. The F South Ward Office in Parel recorded 113.53 mm.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert for Mumbai City and suburbs for August 18 and 19, 2025. Mumbaikars have been advised to avoid stepping out unless absolutely necessary and to strictly adhere to instructions issued by the authorities.
