As the campaigning for the assembly elections gathers steam in the national capital, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting in northeast Delhi's Seelampur on Monday.
The gathering, titled 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan,' would be Gandhi's first public meeting before the assembly elections scheduled for February 5.
"Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan' on Monday at 5.30 pm in northeast Delhi's Seelampur area. A large number of people, including Congress party workers and leaders, will participate in it," Nizamuddin said, addressing a press conference at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office.

Nizamuddin said Gandhi had emerged as the voice of the people of the country. “Wherever there was an issue, Gandhi reached there and raised people's voices,” he added.
The capital state is witnessing a triangular contest with the ruling Aam Aadmi Party looking for another straight term and the BJP and the Congress aiming at a strong comeback.
In the 70-member Delhi Assembly, the AAP has 62 members while the BJP 8. The Congress drew a blank in the last assembly elections.
The grand old party, which ruled Delhi for 15 years until it was reduced a nonentity in the 2013 assembly elections, is hopeful of riding on the corruption allegations against the AAP leaders and forming its government after 12 years.
The counting of votes will take place on February 8.
The party had held a month-long 'Delhi Nyay Yatra' in November to connect with voters and boost the morale of the party cadre. The yatra, which was organised along the lines of Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' and 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra', concluded on December 7.
