Investigation agencies are leaving people like Prajwal Revanna and arresting people like her, said Bharat Rashtra Samiti leader K. Kavitha while she appeared for the hearing in a money laundering case.
The BRS leader, facing charges in the money laundering case registered in connection with the alleged scam in scrapped Delhi liquor policy, was produced in Delhi Rouse Avenue Court on expiry of her remand period. Arriving at the Court, Kavitha told presspersons, “Investigation agencies are leaving people like Prajwal Revanna and arresting people like us,” ANI reported.
Hearing the case, Special Judge for CBI and ED cases, Kaveri Baweja, extended the custody of the Telangana MLC till May 14 after she was produced before the court on the expiry of her remand.
During the proceedings, the Enforcement Directorate told the court the investigation was at a crucial stage and it may file a chargesheet against Kavitha within a week.
