The Bengaluru cafe blast prime accused has, reportedly, been captured on camera without the cap, mask or goggles, with a screengrab of the CCTV footage being widely circulated on social media. Though there has been no official confirmation on the picture yet, the screengrab is believed to be taken from the CCTV footage from inside a bus. He is seen wearing a T-shirt.

On March 1, a blast caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), at the eatery in Brookfield area in east Bengaluru left 10 people injured.

CCTV footages from the cafe and on the road had captured the prime suspect wearing a full-sleeved shirt, pants, goggles, mask, cap and carrying a backpack.

New video footage of the suspect later emerged, showing him moving in a bus. The suspect, after noticing the camera in the bus, moved away from the camera.

Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara had, on Thursday, said the prime suspect changed his clothes after the incident, and travelled by a bus, and added that the suspect is said to have travelled towards Tumakuru after the explosion, and officials are following the leads and verifying his movement till Ballari.

NIA has announced Rs 10 lakh cash reward for information about the bomber.

Cafe to reopen today

A week after the blast, the popular eatery is set to reopen the branch today. According to the co-founders, Divya and Raghavendra Rao, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his deputy D.K. Shivakumar and Parameshwara are set to attend the reopening function at 6pm.
