Delhi Police’s Special Cell arrested Javed Ahmed Mattoo, a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist carrying a bounty of Rs 5 lakh, on Thursday.
Mattoo, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore, is wanted in several terror-related incidents in the Union territory.
According to reports, he had also visited Pakistan.
The terrorist was captured even as the National Investigation Agency had launched a search operation for him.
In a video that went viral on social media platforms ahead of Independence Day last year, Jave's brother Rayees Mattoo, was seen waving the tricolour in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore, reports news agency ANI.
