In a historic move, the Lok Sabha on Wednesday passed a bill to ensure reservation of 33 per cent seats for women in Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies.
The bill was passed with over 2/3 majority with 454 MPs voting in favour of it. Two members voted against it.
