At least 10 children are missing after a boat overturned in the Bagmati river in Bihar's Muzaffarpur on Thursday morning. According to reports, the children were on their way to school.
Search and rescue operations are under way and 20 children have been rescued so far. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ordered the District Magistrate to look into the tragic incident. “The state government will provide all assistance to the affected families,” Kumar said.

Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rushed to the site and are involved in search operation.
The CM is in Muzaffarpur to review the progress of ongoing projects in the district.
