One militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in Karhama, Kunzar in Baramulla on Saturday. The encounter started after security forces started a search operation in the area.
As the security forces neared a suspect safe house, they came under fire. In the ensuing encounter, one militant was killed.
This is the fourth encounter in Jammu and Kashmir in the past 96 hours.
