Mumbai man who performed bike stunt with 2 women arrested

Cases have been registered against him at Antop Hill & Wadala TT police stations

Mumbai Police, on Sunday, arrested a 24-year-old man, whose video of him performing bike stunts went viral. He was performing stunts with a woman sitting in front of him and another sitting pillion.

The accused has cases registered against him at Antop Hill and Wadala TT police stations, a police official told PTI. 

"Recently, a video of the accused performing a dangerous stunt on his bike with two girls went viral on social media. The incident had occurred in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) area of the city. After the video surfaced, a case was registered against him and a team was formed to nab him," the official added.

The arrest was made under sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide).

The 13-second video was shared by PotholeWarriors Foundation, condemning the act.
