Ahead of the state polls, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived in Himachal Pradesh on Friday. While addressing the 'Parivartan Pratigya Rally' in Solan, Priyanka promised jobs for the youths and implementing the old pension scheme. At the rally, she also said that BJP only respects big industrialists.

"Employees are on dharna for old pension scheme for 2 months but no government representative has met them. Over 60,000 posts are vacant in Himachal Pradesh but youths are not provided jobs," claims Priyanka Gandhi.

"You should think about your future. BJP does not have money for pension but they can waive off loans of their big businessmen. They have nothing for youth, employees and women," she added.

I am giving you a guarantee today that after forming the government here, two major decisions will be taken in the first cabinet meeting, she said. "Firstly, it is to give one lakh government jobs and secondly it is to implement the old pension scheme," Priyanka added.

Priyanka Gandhi offered prayers at Maa Shoolini Temple in Solan district before addressing the rally.

Earlier, Modi had launched a slew of developmental projects in Una and Chamba. He also flagged off the fourth Vande Bharat Express train from Una.
