A school teacher in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu is accused of allegedly trying to convert students by asking them to recite Christian prayers and claiming that Bhagavad Gita is evil.

A complaint has been lodged against Beatrice Thangam, tailoring and sewing teacher in Government Higher Secondary school in Kannattuvilai in the district by parents of a Class VI student.
