President Ram Nath Kovind was admitted to hospital on Friday after he complained of discomfort in his chest. Kovind was admitted to the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) in Delhi.
According to a hospital statement, Kovind was undergoing routine check-up and was under observation. The statement added his condition was stable.
Kovind, who is 75 years old, had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) on March 3.
