Trump in a series of tweets said that China failed to keep up promises to buy more US farm goods. He said he will ramp up the trade war with China and impose 10 per cent tariff on roughly $300 billion worth of Chinese imports. The tariffs will take affect September 1 onwards.

SC to consider mediation panel's report, decide future course
The Supreme Court is likely to consider on Friday the "outcome" of mediation proceedings conducted by a panel set up to amicably resolve the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute in Ayodhya and may decide where to hear the matter or continue with the mediation.
