The deadline to register online for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services examination 2019 has been extended by a day. The new deadline to submit the application for UPSC civil services exam is 6pm, Tuesday (March 19, 2019). The original deadline was March 18.
Eligible candidates can apply for the UPSC Civil Services exam online on the official website of the UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
Candidates can submit their application forms online by navigating through the official website or going directly on this link upsconline.nic.in.
The UPSC Civil Service preliminary exam will be held on June 2, 2019. Candidates should take note that after completing Part I of the online application, they must complete and submit Part II of the application as well without delay.
The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 100. SC/ST/Female/Ex-Servicemen category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
General category candidates can pay the application fee either online using credit/debit card and net banking. Offline payment can be done by depositing the fee at any branch of the State Bank of India.
The notification on the official website of the UPSC also mentions that candidates who wish to apply under Economically Weaker Sections category must get their EWS certificate ready by August 1, 2019.
The admit card for the UPSC Civil Service exam 2019 will be issued on the official website as well.
