The Jammu and Kashmir government has informed the Union home ministry that it is issuing orders to withdraw all security and government facilities provided to the separatist leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Abdul Ghani Bhat, Bilal Lone, Hashim Qureshi and Shabir Shah. All security and any vehicles provided to them will stand withdrawn by Sunday evening.
No security forces or cover should be provided, under any pretext, to them or any other separatists. If there are any other facilities provided by government, they are to be withdrawn forthwith, said MHA sources.
Meanwhile the police headquarters will review if there are any other separatists who avail government security or facilities, and these will be withdrawn immediately.
The move comes following Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s declaration that security provided for people receiving funds from Pakistan and it’s ISI agency should be reviewed.
