Why is avocado considered healthy?
Avocado is known for its monounsaturated fats, dietary fibre, vitamins and minerals, making it a nutrient-dense addition to a balanced diet. Its creamy texture and versatility have also contributed to its popularity in health-focused meals.
However, nutrition experts have also cautioned against assuming that eating more avocado automatically means eating healthier. Because avocado is relatively calorie-dense, portion size remains important.
