If you are a regular Facebook user from Kerala or Tamil Nadu, chances are that you would have come across Jimikki Kammal, a catchy song-and-dance routine from the Malayalam movie Velipadinte Pusthakam. The song became even more popular after some college students in Kerala went on camera, dancing to the tune.
But no, the crowning glory for the song (apart from flooding Facebook accounts in two southern states) came when popular TV show host Jimmy Kimmel replied to a video of the song, saying he loved it.
"Have you heard the song Jimikki Kammal?" posed a Twitter user Varun S. Kumar to the host of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.
