Sidharth Malhotra’s "The Vvaan – Force of the Forrest" has continued its theatrical run, reaching a worldwide gross of ₹84.59 crore by Day 13, per figures reported by Sacnilk.
Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, the fantasy folk-thriller has maintained a strong presence in several Indian markets, even as its collections have declined during its second week.
On Day 13, the film earned an estimated ₹0.80 crore net in India. This was a 33.3% drop from its Day 12 collection of ₹1.20 crore. The film played across 1,966 shows nationwide on Day 13, down from the larger show counts recorded during its opening week.
So far, "The Vvaan" has collected ₹65.05 crore net in India, with its India gross now at ₹77.24 crore. Its overseas gross is estimated at ₹7.35 crore, taking its worldwide gross to ₹84.59 crore.
Despite the second-week slowdown, the film has benefited from strong support in the Hindi heartland. Markets such as Bihar have reportedly performed particularly well, with the festive holiday period helping the movie attract audiences. Its biggest single-day performance came on Day 3, a Sunday, when it collected ₹14.35 crore net in India.
The film’s performance also marks a significant milestone for Sidharth Malhotra. With his films featuring him as the main solo male lead, "The Vvaan" has delivered a major career milestone. It has become his biggest solo hit of the past decade and has ended a long period in which his solo theatrical releases struggled to achieve sustained commercial success.
Although early trade reports during the opening weekend suggested that "The Vvaan" could become the actor’s biggest career hit, its eventual trajectory, in terms of lifetime collection, places it behind "Ek Villain" (2014), which remains his highest-grossing film overall. That film, however, featured Riteish Deshmukh in a major parallel role, benefiting from a dual-lead setup.
The film also holds the record for Sidharth’s strongest first-week performance for a solo-led movie. "The Vvaan" earned ₹53.60 crore net in India during its first seven days. This puts it ahead of his previous solo-led releases, including "Param Sundari", "Marjaavaan" and "Hasee Toh Phasee".
For comparison, "Param Sundari" collected ₹43.10 crore in its first week, followed by "Marjaavaan" at ₹37.87 crore and "Hasee Toh Phasee" at ₹27.20 crore.
