Hanuman Ansh's impressive theatrical run remains intact, as its box office collection on the seventh Saturday since release showed. As per box office data tracking platform Sacnilk, the Hindi movie earned ₹9.75 crore net in India on Day 44, taking its net collection to ₹258.13 crore.
Hanuman Ansh's Day 44 collection is important because it is a massive 95% increase from the ₹5 crore the film earned on Day 43. Meanwhile, in theatres outside India, the movie collected ₹1.50 crore on Day 44, taking its total overseas gross to date to ₹24.50 crore. This took its worldwide gross collection to ₹329.30 crore, the report added.
"On Day 44, Hanuman Ansh collected a net of ₹9.75 Cr across 7,119 shows. This brings total India gross collections to ₹304.80 Cr and total India net collections to ₹258.13 Cr so far," Sacnilk said on its website.
The Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand-starrer earned ₹5.00 crore, ₹6.25 crore, ₹6.00 crore, ₹8.25 crore, and ₹8.25 crore respectively in the past five days from the domestic market.
Made with a modest budget of around ₹2 crore, the film has now earned approximately 164 times its production cost. It is the third highest-grossing Hindi movie of the year — only behind Dhurandhar 2, which has crossed ₹1,800 crore, and Border 2 (₹464.50 crore).
Written, directed, and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi under his banner, Swambhu Media Network, Hanuman Ansh is based on his book "Divine Detour: That Changed My Life", which chronicles the life of the Hindu guru and Hanuman devotee, Neem Karoli Baba.
