Mirzapur: The Movie continued its strong run at the box office on Day 16, taking total India gross collections to ₹246.77 crore and total India net to ₹207.16 crore so far. The final domestic collections are yet to be reported, with initial reports confirming the action movie has collected ₹0.96 crore net already.
The Pankaj Tripathi-starrer ended Day 15 with an India net collection of ₹206.20 crore, while its worldwide gross stood at ₹296.14 crore.
According to popular box office data-analysing platform Sacnilk, Friday's tally was a 31.3% drop from Thursday — signalling that the Bollywood action drama is experiencing a sharper slowdown in its third week despite crossing ₹200 crore in India net.
"Cumulative show count in India has now crossed 1,29,239, keeping the film's overall release scale intact even as day-wise numbers cool off. Mirzapur: The Movie opened its third week the way its second week closed — sliding further into single-digit-to-low-teens occupancy territory, with the fanbase-driven energy of the first fortnight now clearly behind it," Sacnilk said.
"Day 15 (3rd Friday) brought in ₹2.75 Cr net across 4,112 shows, a steep 31.3% drop from Thursday's ₹4.00 Cr — the sharpest single-day fall since the Day 11 Monday crash, and a reminder that the film is now well into its long tail rather than chasing fresh milestones," it added. The report also pointed out that the movie's overall occupancy on Day 15 came in at 20.29%, marginally up from Day 14's 17.33%.
As things stand, Mirzapur: The Movie has a realistic chance of breaking into the ₹300 crore club globally and ₹220 crore domestically.
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, who also worked on the original Prime Video series of the same name, the film witnessed a powerful opening, particularly in mass-market regions such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. After crossing ₹100 crore net in India by Day 4, the film remained steady during the weekdays.
