Valentines Day isn't far away and it is that time of the year when films with romantic flavour hit the theatres. With Love, starring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, is a rom-com entertainer that came out this Friday (February 6). The film has opened to largely positive reviews from the public, especially in urban and semi-urban areas of Tamil Nadu.
On its opening day in India, With Love recorded collections of approximately Rs 2 crore gross, of which Tamil Nadu contributed approximately Rs 1.50 crore gross. Chennai and other cities in the state saw excellent occupancy, and the weekend advance booking across the urban areas are quite good.
With Love is showing a huge jump in collections on its second day in Tamil Nadu, taking full toll of the positive feedback from viewers. Word-of-mouth is spreading like wildfire and that is translating into significant growth at the box office. Early trends suggest a growth of 50-60 percent for the film with the evening and night shows yet to come.

For its second day alone, With Love is targeting an India gross of Rs 3-4 crore, which is a significant jump from the opening day. Kerala, Karnataka and the Telugu states are all witnessing solid growth due to the youth coming out in large numbers. Trends suggest a strong opening week for With Love and with Valentines Day on a Saturday, the second weekend should also be strong.
Abishan's directorial debut Tourist Family also started on a low note but ended up minting over Rs 60 crore from Tamil Nadu alone, ending up in the top ten grossers of 2025. His hero debut With Love might not go that far but is likely to end up as a blockbuster regardless. Rom-coms that have strong word-of-mouth generally have a long run and February doesn't have major releases unless Vijay's Jana Nayagan gets a release date.
