'Dhurandhar' box office collection day 37: Ranveer Singh starrer outperforms Prabhas' new release 'The Raja Saab'

Ranveer Singh's all-time blockbuster 'Dhurandhar' remains unstoppable and is doing better business than the Hindi version of Prabhas' latest release 'The Raja Saab'

Days after becoming the highest-ever Hindi grosser in India, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar continues to be superstrong at the box office. The film endured a steady start to its sixth weekend by record figures of Rs 3 crore nett on its 36th day. These are excellent numbers in any case, more so when you factor in a new release in The Raja Saab which had a Hindi dubbed release in addition to the Telugu and Tamil version.

The Raja Saab managed to collect Rs 5 crore nett in Hindi on its opening day but that also had a considerable amount of self-booking coordinated by the producers. So, the fair value of its first day numbers would barely be around Rs 4 crore nett. On its second day, it will register similar numbers but Dhurandhar is set to show a strong jump in collections.

As per early trends, Dhurandhar has already collected Rs 4.70 crore nett with prime time shows and night shows still left in the day. With weekend kicking in, there is every chance for the film to touch Rs 6 crore nett, which would be mind-boggling for a film in its 37th day. With The Raja Saab barely causing trouble, Dhurandhar is on course to collect a bit more.

Dhurandhar breached the Rs 750 crore nett mark on its 36th day and it's 37-day numbers are set to be around Rs 756 crore nett. Sunday should see another Rs 5-6 crore being added. The way it is trending, Dhurandhar should easily stay stable for another week and is eyeing the Rs 775 crore nett mark as the lifetime finish.

The spy thriller has destroyed all major box office records except the opening day and opening weekend figures but those should be broken by the sequel which is slated to release on March 19 this year. There is one major record that Dhurandhar will not break and that is the footfalls record which is held by Baahubali 2 at 5.10 crore. Dhurandhar will end its run at roughly 3.60 crore.
