No film had breached the Rs 20 crore nett mark in its fourth weekend and Dhurandhar unlocked that milestone on its 23rd day, taking full advantage of the Saturday factor and vacation season. The film continues to go in juggernaut mode and still has a lot more fuel left in the tank to wreck the box office.
On its 24th day, Dhurandhar has taken a strong start once again with morning shows indicating a jump from Saturday's samples during the same time. There will be a jump in collections, which is obvious, and it is now about whether Dhurandhar can match its Christmas Day numbers of Rs 25 crore nett on its fourth Sunday.
Given the unprecedented trends and box office records that it has set till date, nothing that Dhurandhar does is surprising or shocking at the moment. The film has collected Rs 635 crore nett after 23 days and will comfortably zoom past the Rs 650 crore nett mark with collections expected to be close to Rs 660 crore nett.

With New Year Day falling on Thursday, we can expect another fabulous trend across the coming weekdays and Pushpa 2's Hindi nett will be broken within a week, thereby making Dhurandhar the highest Hindi version grosser in India. With the Rs 1000 crore mark crossed globally, the film is looking at a figure around Rs 1200 crore as the closing worldwide figure.
Kartik Aryan's Christmas release is a non-starter and has barely affected Dhurandhar, and the next couple of weeks also don't have any major releases. Therefore, the Ranveer Singh starrer has ample time to rake in a lot more and perhaps even challenge Rs 800 crore nett in India.
