There is no stopping the box office juggernaut of Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate. This Gujarati film already became the industry's highest grosser weeks ago but has now created another massive milestone on Monday (December 1). It has become the first Gujarati film to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club.
In its eighth week, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate is still going superstrong and has collected approximately Rs 92 crore in Gujarat according to Pinkvilla. This makes it the second-highest grossing Indian film in the state, with only Pushpa 2 above it. The all-India collections of the film have breached the three-figure mark.
Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate opened to Rs 2 lakh on its opening day and the collections after three weeks stood at Rs 1.22 crore nett. These were good numbers already, given that the film was made on a shoestring budget. The makers were assured of being breakeven and what followed thereafter is history as the film started to spike upwards in unprecedented fashion.

From the fourth week onwards, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate has gone on a record-breaking spree and set new benchmarks for the Gujarati film industry. Gujarati films do decent business but it's generally Bollywood which has always dominated the collections in Gujarat, as is the case in most parts of India excluding the south.
Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate overtook the likes of Baahubali 2 and KGF 2, apart from Gadar 2, to storm to the no.2 spot. It is likely to settle there as Pushpa 2's figures seem improbable to breach.
