Even on its 17th day in Assam, the film is clocking over Rs 1 crore gross easily and this is only a 50 percent drop from the opening day figures - phenomenal trending. Late legend Zubeen Garg's final film continues to dominate the Assamese box office, setting new records and benchmarks.
Released on October 31, Roi Roi Binale took an earth-shattering start by clocking Rs 7 crore nett in its opening weekend and the momentum hasn't stopped since. While weekends have seen an average occupancy of 95-100 percent, weekdays are still going at an unprecedented occupancy of 65 percent or more.
After 16 days, the film has grossed Rs 25.50 crore approximately in India with a lion's share of the collections coming in from Assam. The incredible reception to the film shows how much Garg meant to the people of Assam, both as a musical icon and social figure. The musical drama features Garg as a blind musician.
On its 17th day, Roi Roi Binale is clocking an average occupancy of 90-95 percent and is looking at an India gross of approximately Rs 1.50 crore, which would take its total collections to Rs 27 crore in India. It is already a monstrous all-time blockbuster and the only question now is regarding the extent of benchmark it will end up setting.
