This is a collaboration we never saw coming. Hrithik Roshan's newly launched production house HRX Films is set to launch their maiden production, a web series in a partnership with Amazon Prime Video. While there is no title yet, the lead cast members have been finalised.
Parvathy Thiruvothu will play the lead in the series which also features Alaya F, Srishti Srivastava, Rama Sharma and Saba Azad, according to a Bollywood Hungama report. Ajit Pal Singh, who directed the acclaimed SonyLIV crime series Tabbar, is helming what is being described as a social thriller. Hrithik is said to be strongly involved in the script and production aspects.
As per the report, the series is a "sharp, character-driven social thriller that examines power, morality, and survival through the lens of modern India. All the characters bring unique perspectives that make it an ensemble of depth and substance. It’s an intense, thought-provoking thriller that looks at the intersections of power, conscience, and consequence.”
The series is currently in the pre-production stage, with filming said to begin soon this year.
Parvathy, whose previous Hindi projects include Qarib Qarib Singlle and Khadak Singh, is an accomplished name in Malayalam cinema, with noteworthy performances in films such as Uyare, Take Off, Koode, Charlie, Ullozhokku, aside from acclaimed roles in Tamil films such as Thangalaan and Maryan.
