Imagine being part of a film that took three years to complete due to various reasons, and the eventual relief at seeing it finished. Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal has felt this relief at the completion of his new film Aaryan in February this year. The production for the crime thriller had begun in 2022.

The actor, who is bankrolling the film under his home banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz, announced that it will finally see the light of day on October 31.

Sharing the update on his Instagram page, the actor wrote, "They say time tests you. 34 months tested me. This October, I return with my strength, my core, my cinema. I'm back as a solo lead. See you in theatres on October 31st."

In the film, Vishnu returns to the thriller genre, once again donning the khaki after his hit investigative thriller Ratsasan, which made waves within and outside Tamil Nadu.

Written and directed by Praveen K, the film has Shraddha Srinath and Vani P Bhojan playing the female leads, with Selvaraghavan in a key role. The rest of the cast comprises actors Tarak Ponnappa, Abhishek Joseph George and Mala Parvathi.

Manu Anand, who directed Vishnu Vishal in FIR, is the co-writer. Harish Kannan handled the camera, with Sam CS ("Kaithi") as music composer.

Vishnu Vishal was last seen in the romantic comedy drama Oho Enthan Baby, released in theatres in July this year. The film is expected to hit Netflix soon. An official streaming date is yet to be announced by the makers.
