Ayan Mukerji has come up with yet another instalment in YRF Spy Universe with War 2 as Major Kabir Dhaliwal goes rogue this time. Though Hrithik Roshan was joined by Jr NTR in War 2, it was not enough to rival against Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie starring Rajinikanth.

How much did War 2 earn on Day?
War 2 has raked in ₹55 crore in net domestic collection for all languages as of 10 pm on Thursday, according to early estimates by Sacnilk.

However, Rajinikanth starrer Coolie minted ₹65 crore in net domestic box office collection for all languages by 10 pm, reported Sacnilk.
Overall, War 2 saw an occupancy of 23.02 per cent for Hindi versions with morning shows recording 16.37 per cent, afternoon shows 23.67 per cent and evening shows 29.03 per cent.
Interestlingly, the Hindi shows of War 2 performed well in Chennai at 71 per cent, Hyderabad at 60.5 per cent and Bengaluru 33 per cent. Compared to this, NCR saw just 20.5 per cent occupancy and Mumbai 15 per cent. Lucknow recorded an occupancy of 32 per cent, Kolkata 27 per cent, Jaipur 26.5 per cent, Chandigarh 16.5 per cent, Pune 14.5 per cent and Bhopal 13.5 per cent.
