A popular Punjabi influencer, Kamal Kaur, was found dead in the parking lot of the hospital of Adesh Hospital in Bathinda. Her body was found on Wednesday night after passers-by reported a “foul smell” emitting from the car.
Bathinda Police informed ANI that foul play is suspected in her death and a murder investigation is underway. "Yesterday evening, we received a call that a car was parked in Adesh Hospital and some foul smell was coming out of it,” SP Narinder Singh of Bathinda police station said.

Singh said the body of a female was discovered in the back seat of the vehicle. Preliminary investigations suggest that Kaur was not murdered in the car, and the place of death is yet to be ascertained.
The SP further disclosed that the influencer left her residence on Monday, June 9, telling her mother that she was headed to attend a promotional event. Kaur was “dumped” in the same car she left home with. “Our priority is to know how her body reached there, and who is responsible for her death, and soon, action will be taken against those responsible,” he added.
Who was Kamal Kaur?
Kamal Kaur whose real name is Kanchan Kumari, is a Ludhiana-based influencer. Believed to be in her mid-30s, she has built a significant presence on social media, with over 16 lakh followers across all platforms.
She boasts of close to four lakh followers on Instagram and has a Facebook page of 7.7 lakh followers. Additionally, she operated two YouTube channels under the usernames ‘Funny bhabhi Tv’ with 2.3 lakh followers and ‘kamal kaur’ with 2.7 lakh.
The influencer’s last social media post came at 10:54 pm on Monday, which features a selfie. The picture is captioned, “No emotion, no love, no f**k. Only doubt doubt doubt is left”.
According to The Tribune, Kumari was embroiled in controversy last October, after Canada-based designated terrorist Arsh Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla, warned her to stop posting “inappropriate” content.
