Comedian Samay Raina said on Wednesday that he had removed all episodes of 'India's Got Latent' from YouTube, days after the show landed in controversy following an obscene remark made by social media influencer Ranveer Allahbadia.

The Cyber Cell wing of the Mumbai Police has registered a case against at least three dozen people associated with the show hosted by Raina.

In his first reaction after the controversy erupted earlier this week, Raina said he would fully cooperate with the investigating agencies.

"Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all 'India's Got Latent' videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you," he wrote on X.

YouTube had removed the controversial episode on Tuesday following an order from the central government.

Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, stirred up a storm after he was found asking a question to a participant connecting sex and parents.

The YouTuber has apologised for his remarks, but the issue refused to die down with multiple police complaints being filed against him.

The Mumbai Police on Wednesday recorded the statements of four persons, including influencer Apoorva Mukhija, who also appeared on the show.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned Allahbadia, Raina, Mukhija and the other two judges of the show—Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani—asking them to appear before it on February 17.

The producers of the show—Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra—have also been summoned.

Raina's shows cancelled?

Meanwhile, tickets for Samay Raina's upcoming shows in Gujarat are reportedly not available on the online platform BookMyShow.

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) claimed Raina's shows in Gujarat have been cancelled following the outrage over the  'India's Got Latent' controversy.

Raina's four shows had been planned in the state—one each in Surat on April 17 and Vadodara on April 18, and two in Ahmedabad on April 19 and 20.

"In view of the anger among people, it appears organisers have cancelled Samay Raina's upcoming shows in Gujarat. We are thankful to the people of Gujarat for showing such alertness. I also ask organisers to refrain from organising events of such people in Gujarat," VHP regional secretary Ashvin Patel was quoted by PTI.
