After months of waiting, the teaser for A.R. Murugadoss directorial Sikandar has finally arrived. The film – starring Salman Khan – promises to be adrenaline-packed, keeping the audiences on the edge of their seat.
In the teaser, Khan’s character, Sikandar, can be seen walking down a long hallway, successfully fending off masked men in full armour. Paired with Pritam’s goosebump-inducing musical score, the film has already set high expectations among the audience, and has earned a place among the most anticipated films of 2025.
Aside from Khan, the film will also feature Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, and Sharman Joshi.
On Thursday, the ‘Bhaijaan’ of Bollywood released a first-look poster of his titular character, dressed in a suit, with a spear as his weapon of choice.
Made on a reported budget of Rs 400 crore, the film is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, who brought to the big screens films like Chhichhore, Super 30, Housefull and many more. This is not the production house’s first collaboration with Khan. They have been a strong team since 1996, bringing out films like Jeet (1996), Judwaa (1997), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), and Jaan-E-Mann (2006).
The teaser for Sikandar was initially scheduled to be released on December 27 – on the occasion of Khan’s 59th birthday – but was postponed to Saturday in light of the passing of the former PM Dr Manmohan Singh on the night of December 26.
Sikandar, aiming for an Eid 2025 release, will be Khan’s first feature film release since starring in Tiger 3 (2023), aside from cameos in Singham Again and the upcoming film Baby John.
