Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been hospitalised in a private hospital in Kochi after the actor complained of breathing difficulties. The actor has been reportedly advised to avoid crowded places by doctors.

Doctors treating the actor said he has been diagnosed with high fever, breathing difficulty and generalised myalgia or muscle pain. Doctors also suspect the actor could have viral respiratory infection and he has been advised five days of rest.

Mohanlal has also been prescribed medications and advised not to visit crowded places. Film industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai had shared a medical report of the actor on X.
