'Double iSmart' review and release updates: Ram Pothineni gives glimpses of what the film is all about

Fans of Ram Pothineni are eagerly awaiting the release of Double iSmart, the science fiction action thriller, touted to be a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar.

The movie promises to be a violent action thriller, combining action, science fiction, and a compelling storyline.

Double iSmart also stars Sanjay Dutt,  Kavya Thapar, Bani J, and Sayaji Shinde in the lead apart from Ram Pothineni. Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, who also directed iSmart Shankar, the movie revolves around an assassin who receives the memories of a deceased police officer.

While Double iSmart review is eagerly awaited, the actor, in a tweet, offered glimpses of what is to be expected in the movie. "See you all soon on the BIG Screen,"  Ram Pothineni wrote, sharing a few pics.

A social media user claimed that Double iSmart is getting more screens, indicating that there is a great interest in the movie.

A few days ago, Puri Jagannadh said Ram Pothineni brings unparalleled energy to the screen and on the sets and added that nobody other than him can portray the role of Double iSmart.

According to the director, Ram Pothineni, with his body language, hair style, Telangana slang, and attitude brought a certain swag and edge to the Double iSmart character.

Sanjay Dutt, making his Tollywood debut with Double iSmart, plays the antagonist in the movie. "... Negative is a good space to be in. One can do a lot. I get to do a lot of action. It's good that there is something to do for actors after so many films," the actor had said about doing the negative character.
