Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Disney plus Hotstar

An adaptation of the much-loved book series, the show revolves around Percy's journey to find Zeus's thunderbolt to avoid a clash between the gods. The cast includes Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood.

Dry Day: Amazon Prime Video

Set in the Hindi heartland, the comedy-drama revolves around a small-time goon, Gannu essayed, by Jitendra Kumar. When his alcoholism reaches a high point, he sets out on a new and difficult journey—to overcome his addiction and ban alcohol in his town. A social satire with a relevant message, the series also features Annu Kapoor and Shriya Pilgaonkar.

Curry and Cyanide – The Jolly Joseph Case: Netflix

The true-crime documentary delves into the infamous Koodathai murders that shocked Kerala in 2019. Directed by Christo Tomy, the documentary tracks the investigation into the deaths of six members of the same family, including a two-year-old child. The accused, Jolly Joseph, had admitted she poisoned the family members by mixing cyanide in the food served to them.

BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star – Disney plus Hotstar

The eight-part docuseries chronicles the rise and rise of Korean pop band BTS over the past 10 years. The documentary charts their journey from humble beginnings to superstardom through inside interviews and behind-the-scene clips.

The Telugu film featuring Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Sreeleela in the lead starts streaming this week after its theatrical run. Helmed by debutant Srikanth N. Reddy, the actioner also features Aparna Das and Joju George.
