Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 has a new release date. The movie produced by Sajid Nadiadwala was originally slated to release on Diwali 2024. Now, the date has been moved to June 6, 2025.
The movie also stars Suneil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon and Pooja Hegde among others. About two months ago, the teaser trailer of the movie was released, which has the cast of the film perform an acapella version of the title track.
The fifth instalment in the comedy franchise is directed by Tarun Mansukhani. Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to announce the change in the date of release for the movie. He put up two images—first, the announcement poster and second the poster announcing the new release date.
"The Houseful franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we've made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with a great cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be released on June 6, 2025," the poster reads.
