A week after some exciting releases like Citadel and Sweet Tooth season 2, streaming platforms are back fresh content this week. From Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo to Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story and Corona Papers, here is the list of movies and shows arriving on OTT platforms this week.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story – Netflix

Release date: May 4

A prequel spin-off to the hugely popular Bridgerton series, this mini-series revolves around young Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence after her marriage to King George of England. Created by Shonda Rhimes, the series features India Amarteiflo, Adjoa Andoh, Michelle Fairley among others.

Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo: Disney plus Hotstar

Release date: May 5

With an interesting ensemble of actors including Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar and Isha Talwar, the drama series revolves around a matriarch (Kapadia), her daughter and daughters-in-law. The action-packed series created by Homi Adajania tells the story of a drug cartel run by these badass women, lead by Kapadia.

Fireflies: Parth aur Jugnu – ZEE5

In the fantasy drama series, a lonely teenager sets off on an adventure after he befriends a mysterious boy living in the jungle. Together they embark on a journey to save a magical tree.

Sanctuary: Netflix

Release date: May 4

Another promising release this week is this Netflix drama that tells the story of a young Sumo wrestler Kiyushi Oze who shakes up the traditional world of sumo wrestling. He joins the lucrative industry only for the money, but is forced to confront multiple challenges on the way.

Corona Papers: Disney plus Hotstar

Release date: May 5

The Priyadarshan-directorial, featuring Shine Tom Chacko and Shane Nigam, which was released in theatres last month, will now be available to OTT viewers. Adapted from a 2017 Tamil film 8 Thottakal, which in itself was inspired by Akira Kurosowa's 1949 film Stray Dog, revolves around a cop who loses his revolver on a bus. The same gun ends up being used in a robbery that also leads to a homicide. 

Shabash Feluda: ZEE5

Release date: May 5

Satyajit Ray's iconic detective character Feluda will be brought alive on screen again by Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee, in the ZEE5 series. The 10-episode series is based on Ray's story in which the detective, who has been vacationing in the scenic capital of Sikkim, will end up probing the mysterious death of a businessman.
