What makes an epic period drama, truly epic? Some may say it's the story, some the music and maybe others will name technical finesse as the winner. Absolutely, all things together. But looking closely, it's the larger than life characters who rest on the delicate shoulders of actors, who bring the story alive and provide a beautiful canvas for other departments. The upcoming cinematic extravaganza ‘Chandramukhi’ has emerged as one such glowing example. From the time one sets their eyes on actor Amruta Khanvillkar in the opening sequence of the film’s trailer, you are left besotted.

Similarly, it is hard to shake off Addinath Kothare’s shrewd politician persona which makes a hard impact. He embodies flamboyance and charisma with elan. You can tell there are shades to him, which are unseen.
