Dasvi: Netflix
Release date: April 7
The social comedy led by Abhishek Bachchan revolves around an 8th grade pass politician, Ganga Ram Chaudhary, who ends up behind bars following his involvement in a teacher recruitment scam. He eventually decides to follow his dream of completing his class 10 education from jail. The film, directed by Tushar Jalota, also features Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam Dhar in pivotal roles. “Tushar has made a very sweet entertaining film that has a subliminal message about how education is important,” Abhishek had said in an interview.
Naradan: Amazon Prime Video
Release date: April 8
The Tovino Thomas-starrer thriller had released in theatres in March. The film which follows the journey of a television journalist throws light into social issues and the business of news. Directed by Aashiq Abu, the film also features Anna Ben, Sharafudheen, and Vijayaraghavan in main roles.
Abhay Season 3: ZEE5
Release date: April 8
The crime thriller series starring Kunal Khemu is back with a new season. Khemu reprises the title role of SP Abhay Pratap Singh who is on the lookout for a killer. The series directed by Ken Ghosh also stars Vijay Raaz, Asha Negi, Rahul Dev, Tanuj Virwani, Divya Agarwal and Vidya Malvade.
Elite season 5: Netflix
Release date: April 8
The Spanish thriller teen drama is back with another season. The show follows high schoolers at Las Encinas and deals with themes like class divide, sexuality and crime. It stars Itzab Escamilla, Maria Pedraza, Ester Exposito, Miguel Herran in key roles.
