A number of movies that released in theatres recently are headed the OTT way this week. From Mammootty's box office hit Bheeshma Parvam to Prabhas's Radhe Shyam, viewers who missed these film on the big screen can catch them on streaming platforms over the weekend. Another film to look forward to is late actor Rishi Kapoor's last movie Sharmaji Namkeen.

Bheeshma Parvam: Disney plus Hotstar

Release date: April 1

Director Amal Neerad's gangster drama starring Mammootty released in theatres on March 3. The film revolved around one of Kochi's most influential families and Michael (Mammootty) who heads the family. The plot revolves around the internal clashes in the family. The ensemble cast of the film featured Soubin Shahir, Shine Tom Chacko, Sreenath Bhasi, Veena Nandakumar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jinu Joseph, Nisthar Sait, Sudev Nair, Nadiya Moidu, Lena, Maala Parvathy, and Farhaan Faasil.

Hey Sinamika: Netflix

Release date: March 31

The romantic comedy featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal is choreographer Brindha Gopal's feature directorial debut. The film revolves around complex relationships, and consequences of people's actions. It released in theatres on March 3.

Sharmaji Namkeen: Amazon Prime Video

Release date: March 31

Sharmaji Namkeen marks the final screen appearance of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who died at the age of 67 in April 2020. Described as a "relatable and heartwarming story of self-realization and discovery", the film follows the life of a recently retired man who discovers his passion for cooking after joining a riotous women’s kitty circle. After Kapoor's death, the makers had roped in actor Paresh Rawal to complete the remaining portions of the film.

Radhe Shyam: Amazon Prime Video

Release date: April 1

Set in the 1970s, Radhe Shyam features Prabhas as Vikramaditya, who falls in love with Prerana, played by Pooja Hegde. The film also stars Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sathyan. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the multilingual romantic drama released in theatres on Jnauary 14.

Pada: Amazon Prime Video

Release date: March 30

Written and directed by Kamal KM, Malayalam film Pada stars Kunchacko Boban, Joju George, Vinayakan, and Dileesh Pothan. The film which was well received by critics, the thriller is based on a true incident that occurred in 1996 when the then Palakkad collector was held hostage over the issue of land rights.
