The much awaited teaser of RRR is out. The superheroes of the movie—Ram Charan and Jr NTR—dominated the teaser, with only glimpses of Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. The 40-second video will give you a quick peek into the grand movie that was made on a budget of Rs 300 crores.
The video opens with the shot of a crowd and then jumps to the fight scenes, giving the viewer a glimpse of the magnificent scale of the film. It looks like director S.S. Rajamouli has tried to give us a feel of his earlier hit film Baahubali, but a grander version of it. The teaser has managed to perfectly to stir up curiosity in the audience.
Ram Charan and Jr NTR essay the roles of Telugu tribal leaders Alluri Sitaram Raju and Komaram Bheem who are fighting for people's rights. Devgn who appears on screen for a split second, is seen in a very different look.
Bhatt shared the teaser on her Instagram and captioned it “A glimpse into India’s biggest action drama, in its fiercest form”. Other actors were also seen sharing it—Jr NTR called it a “high-octane action drama”, Ram Charan and Devgn called it a tale of friendship, bravery and courage.
RRR will also feature British actor Olivia Morris, Hollywood actor Ray Stevenson and Irish actor Alison Doody.
The film produced under the banner of DVV Entertainments is set to release on January 7 next year in theaters worldwide.
