The Bombay High Court will continue hearing the bail application plea of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, arrested in connection with the case of drugs seizure by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) aboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 3, on Thursday.

The court had resumed hearing on Wednesday. Appearing for Aryan, former attorney general Mukul Rohatgi said if there is a constitutional infirmity, then that cannot be cured by remand.

Rohatgi argued that the court has been misled in the case, and added, "Please look at the arrest memo of Aryan. It is identical. What it refers to are items not recovered from me (Aryan). There is a legal connotation for this. The law says you must give true and correct grounds for this. This takes us back to the CrPC section 50. Persons arrested have the right to be informed of arrest and grounds of bail"

Rohatgi and lawyers of two other accused in the case, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaz Merchant, concluded arguments on their bail applications on Wednesday.

Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh will respond to the arguments on behalf of NCB on Thursday. He said he would take an hour to present his arguments.

Aryan has been lodged in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai for over two weeks.
